Agartala, Jan 22: On the momentous occasion of Statehood Day, the skies of Tripura seemed to echo with pride as Paramita Sarkar, a spirited daughter of Agartala, reached the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s towering giant. 

With the tricolor unfurled against the backdrop of the vast and untamed wilderness, Paramita stood, a picture of determination etched against the heavens.

Her ascent to 5,895 meters was more than a personal triumph—it was a beacon of inspiration for her state and her nation. The arduous journey demanded unwavering grit, unyielding strength, and a heart that beats with resilience.
