Santirbazar, Apr 2: A vocational training center was inaugurated at Bir Chandra Nagar Lassi Camp to provide skill training for 37 surrendered individuals. 

The initiative, initiated by the state government, aims to train them in computer repairing, driving, tailoring and mobile repairing.

DIGP Krishnendu Chakraborty, Additional SP (SB) Chandan Saha, South District Additional District Magistrate Hemanta Debbarma, Police Officer Mayura Krishna Chandrashekhar, DD (Skill Development) P.G. Saha, Joint Director (Tribal Welfare) V. Darlong and others attended the inaugural programme. 

Attending the gathering, the speakers highlighted the importance of the training.
