Agartala July 15: Flagged off by Agartala Municipal Corporation Mayor, Dipak Majumder, Voluntary Health Organization of Tripura sent a vehicle filled with relief items for the flood affected victims in neighboring state of Silchar.

Speaking on the occasion AMC Mayor Dipak Majumder said around 1000 packets of dry food items have been sent in loaded vehicle as relief for the flood affected victims in Silchar. Briefing the plight and distress of the residents in Silchar, Mayor Dipak Majumder appreciated the noble gesture of the organization and other social organizations in the state who have come forward to extend a helping hand in this dire situation.
