Teliamura July 10: Official residence of Teliamura Public Works Department is reeling with acute drinking water crisis. Although there are three pump operators to deliver water, it is alleged that water is not being supplied to government residences on a daily basis.

Reportedly, three persons namely, Krishna Debbarma, Abhicharan Debbarma and Nirmal Debbarma are working as pump operators in the area. Allegedly, the three pump operators do not come to work on time every day. As a result, there is an acute drinking water crisis in the government housing of the Public Works Department.

According to conscious quarters, the state govt and the concerned authorities must take immediate steps towards these employees for negligence in duty.
