Agartala July 04: Bodhjong Nagar police arrested a youth namely Rohit Kumar Singh from Ujay Abhaynagar area of the capital in connection with the incident of recovery of two dead bodies in capital. The detained was produced before the court and police sought 7 days police remand.

Notably, two dead bodies of youths were recovered by police from the Durga Chowdhury para area under Bodhjung Nagar police station on Sunday. Both the bodies had their hands tied behind them and were carrying multiple stab injuries. Police sources said that local people in Durga Chowdhury para area had come across the bodies lying in the road side jungle and informed the police. A police contingent had gone to the spot and recovered the dead bodies before sending them to GBP hospital for post-mortem. Police sources primarily assumed the two youths might have gone to a nearby area either for a drinking session or gambling and a dispute in the session might have led to their killing.
