Agartala, Nov 21: The inaugural session of vibrant Heritage Fest-2024 organized by the Yuva Vikas Kendra in Agartala showcased the true spirit of Unity in Diversity.
With participation of students from colleges and universities of 25 states, the seven-day event being held at Swami Vivekananda Maidan is set to become a hub of cultural activities.
Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha, who inaugurated the Heritage Fest, said Yuva Shakti is the main asset of the country and they should actively participate in nation building.
He said, such festivals are crucial as they help foster bonds among the people.
Dr. Saha further added that Prime Minister Narendra Modi often says that the country’s development is impossible without developing the Northeast.

The youth also aspire to development. They must join the process of progress, and programs like these will facilitate cultural and linguistic exchange among the states. Law and order have improved significantly in the state, encouraging investors to come here. Our government has a zero-tolerance policy against crimes and violence, and we address issues as promptly as possible,” he said.
