“Share the Gift of Life”; Tripura CM shares the message from a blood donation event organized by CSOI

Agartala Aug 18: Stepping forward in social responsibilities along with discharging professional duties makes a responsible citizen, said chief minister Dr Manik Saha.
In a significant demonstration of community service and solidarity, Tripura Civil Service Officers’ Institute (COSI) on Sunday organized a mega blood donation camp at the State Guest House.
The event saw enthusiastic participation from various sections of society, including chief minister Dr Manik Saha, Director General of State Police Amitabh Ranjan, Chief Secretary JK Sinha, West Tripura District Magistrate Dr. Vishal Kumar along with top government officials and residents.
The camp saw an overwhelming response with 60 donors stepping forward to contribute to the noble cause.
Addressing the program, the chief minister greeted the participants who came forward in voluntary blood donation.
He also highly praised the efforts of Tripura CSOI for organizing such a camp.
“The blood donation camp underscores the active participation of civil service officers in community welfare activities. They are not only doing their professional duties but are also carrying out social responsibilities. The CSOI’s efforts in organizing such events are laudable and it aptly demonstrates their commitment to public health and welfare”, he said.
In his speech the chief minister also highlighted the importance of blood donation and how blood donation camps in Tripura have turned into a ‘festivity’.
A good number of officials also donated blood at the day’s camp.
