170th martyrdom anniv of Kanhu Murmu observed in Tripura

Agartala Feb 23: The 170th martyrdom anniversary of Santhal rebellion leader Kanhu Murmu was observed with great reverence and respect in front of Ujjayanta Palace, Agartala under the auspices of the Tripura branch of the All India Jan Adhikar Suraksha Committee.
The ceremony paid tribute to the indomitable spirit and sacrifice of Kanhu Murmu, a revered figure in India's history, who led the Santhal Rebellion against British colonial forces in the mid-19th century.
