Sabroom, Jan 3: The Sabroom English Medium Higher Secondary School began its two-day science fair and annual prize distribution on Friday. 

Finance Minister Pranajit Singha Roy inaugurated the event in presence of other dignitaries, including MLA Mevar Kumar Jamatia and South District Zilla Parishad Sabhadhipati Dipak Dutta and others.

Over 125 science models were displayed and new facilities, including a dining hall and a parent rest house, were inaugurated. 

The Finance Minister highlighted education reforms under NEP 2020 and efforts to modernize tribal and school education, such as expanding Eklavya schools and introducing free Wi-Fi in colleges.

Principal Sankar Saha mentioned the school’s 100 percent pass record and urged support from the community to uphold its reputation.
