3540 eskuf bottles seized  

Agartala, March 24: Lefunga police seized a huge quantity of illegal Eskoff cough syrup from Harendranagar on Sunday.

According to Lefunga police station OC, Sadeb Das, 3540 bottles of illegal Eskoff cough syrup were seized in the operation. Based on a tip-off the operation was carried out by the police force led by Das and Second Officer Surya Mahan Das in view of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

However, no one was arrested or detained in the operation, police added.
