Agartala Jun 10: Demanding justice for the aspiring candidates, Tripura Pradesh Youth Congress on Monday demanded immediate resignation of TIPRA Motha founder Pradyot Kishore Deb Barma and a CBI inquiry into the issue of question paper leak related to recruitment into 110 posts in TTAADC.
Addressing a press conference from the state Congress headquarters in Agartala Pradesh Youth Congress president Neel Kamal Saha lashed out at the TTAADC administration under TIPRA Motha claiming it to be ‘highly grappled with mismanagement and corruption’.
Notably, the administration of Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC) postponed the competitive examinations scheduled to be held on June 9 for the recruitment of 110 vacant posts of Sub-Zonal Development Officers and Deputy Principal Officers following ‘leaked’ answer key.
Later an FIR was also lodged with the West Agartala Police Station demanding arrest and appropriate punishment of the accused involved with the case.
Saha said, “Such mismanagement has pushed the future of thousands of aspiring candidates at stake who spent at least Rs 500 to fill the forms for the recruitment examination”.
The youth body of the age-old party added that such incident not only marred the credibility of the recruitment process but has also raised serious concerns about the transparency and efficacy under Pradyot’s leadership.
