Agartala Aug 10: In presence of Agartala Municipal Corporation Mayor, Dipak Majumder and Councillors of various Wards, ten water tankers were introduced for the people of Agartala City on Wednesday.

Flagging off the ten water tankers of thousand litres each, AMC Mayor Dipak Majumder said the ten water tankers have been launched for the benefit of the citizens as a part of “Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav”.

Dipak Majumder added, “There is a good demand of drinking water in any program like wedding, religious program etc. Now this demand can be met with these water tankers”.

“More tankers will be launched in near days for the benefit of the common people living in AMC areas”, said the Mayor.
