Agartala Sept 19: Aiming to encourage the citizens to join the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Rajib Bhattacharjee, Rajya Sabha MP and State president of the ruling party inaugurated ‘Sadasyata Abhiyan 2024’ at the Maharajganj market, Agartala.

The members of Maharajganj Bazar Samiti in collaboration with Tripura Pradesh BJP Kisan Morcha organized the membership-drive on Thursday.

Addressing the event, the state BJP president emphasized the state government’s commitment to form a developed state.

While encouraging the businessmen and citizens to join the saffron party, Bhattacharjee highlighted various developmental works done by the BJP-led government since its establishment in the year 2018.

“Compared to the previous condition of much important national highways, especially the Assam-Agartala National Highway which is crucial for transportation of various goods including vegetables from other states like Assam, the roadways have seen a robust change under the current government. We have the best and spacious airport in entire northeast and many more. All these changes in the transport sector is benefitting the business sector”, he said.

Bhattacharjee further added, “We would not only enroll new members but also inculcate the ideologies of the party among them, top leaders from state and outside will train the new inductees and create awareness at the grassroot level”, he added.
