Khowai police holds blood donation camp

Khowai, Sept 19: The Khowai district police organized a voluntary blood donation camp on Thursday.
The camp saw a total of 50 donors, including police officers and personnel from various ranks.
The blood donation camp, held at the district police line in Khowai, witnessed an enthusiastic participation from both donors and organizers.
During the event, a policeman who donated blood said, if a drop of our blood saves a critically ill patient’s life, then we would continue to donate blood repeatedly.
Superintendent of Police, Khowai- Dr. Ramesh Yadav inaugurated the camp and he was the first to donate blood.
Several officers from different police stations were also seen participating in the initiative. Dr. Manojit Debnath and Dr. Rangdulal Debbarma from Khowai district hospital's Blood Bank also addressed the attendees, emphasizing the importance of blood donation in saving lives.
The inaugural event was presided over by DSP Rangdulal Debbarma.
