Kalyanpur Nov 24: With the 2023 assembly polls knocking at the door, the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party is leaving no stone unturned to re-establish itself back to power in the hilly state of Tripura.
As the election draws closer, the BJP has launched numerous campaigns including “Basti Sampark Abhiyan” that targets to reach out to at least 2,000 slums across the state and meet with the Scheduled Caste population.
Bharatiya Janata Party SC Morcha under Dr B R Ambedkar Shakti Kendra in Kamalnagar under 27 Kalyanpur Pramodnagar Mandal conducted a mega “Basti Sampark Abhiyan” on Thursday.
The ruling BJP has left behind the opposition parties in terms of campaigning in the entire Kalyanpur assembly constituency.
MLA and BJP Khowai District President Pinaki Das Chowdhury led the “Basti Sampark Abhiyan” in Kamalnagar under Kalyanpur Assembly Constituency.
Pinaki Das Chowdhury, president of BJP Khowai District Committee and MLA of Kalyanpur, is running extensive campaign by forming various teams.
MLA Pinaki Das Chowdhury, Yuva Morcha District President Manik Debnath, Pradesh Yuva Morcha vice- president Arunabh Nandi, Kalyanpur Yuva Morcha president Shubhankar Sen, Mandal president Jiban Debnath, Mandal secretary Rajesh Acharjee and others were present in the day’s campaign.
MLA Pinaki Das Chowdhury went door-to-door at booth number 47 of Kamalnagar to find out the necessities and demands of the inhabitants.
The MLA was accompanied by Shakti Kendra Coordinator Babul Debnath and others.
“People are satisfied with the state government. They got houses and toilets, drinking water, cooking gas and several other facilities under various state and central government schemes”, said MLA Pinaki Chowdhury.
The MLA further promised to resolve the issues of few others that were placed before him on Thursday.
The government and the BJP party will work towards the overall development of the common people, he said.
