BJP ministers take part in “Gaon Chalo Abhiyan”; 3,349 booths across state on target

Kumarghat Feb 09: With the Lok Sabha elections at front, the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Tripura is conducting “Gaon Chalo Abhiyan’ (Go to the villages) campaign to preach Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘welfare message’ to the last person in the queue.
Minister for Youth Affairs and Sports Tinku Roy conducted a similar public outreach program in Booth No. 6 of Fatikroy Mandal urging the people to elect the BJP and PM Modi for yet another term while creating awareness about the achievements of the government in the last 9 years of rule.
Similarly, the other ministers of the state including ARDD Minister Sudhanshu Das also conducted ‘Gaon Chalo Abhiyan’ at Booth No. 11, Srirampur under Chandipur Mandal and participated in exchange meetings with party functionaries.
The party’s state-based Gaon Chalo Abhiyan will end on February 11 next and according to the directions of the central leadership, the functionaries of the party organization are reaching out to the people at each booth. They are also monitoring the present situation and are working to strengthen the organization ahead of the crucial polls.
