Agartala, Sep 7: Pradesh Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) General Secretary and MLA Bhagawan Chandra Das expressed gratitude to Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha and his Cabinet for the swift decision of allocating Rs 564 crore for relief package to support those impacted by the recent floods.

Addressing a press conference at the BJP state headquarters on Saturday, Das stated that the among allocated relief package Rs 70 crore will spend for food supplies, Rs 15 crore for agriculture, Rs 5 crore for horticulture, Rs 120 crore each for education and urban development, Rs 240 crore for rural development, Rs 100 crore each for health and electricity and around Rs 250 crore for the Public Works Department (PWD).

Das commended the Chief Minister for responding quickly to the crisis and emphasized that the financial aid will provide immediate relief across several sectors and assist affected communities in rebuilding their lives.
