Agartala, Mar 08: Bharatiya Janata Party karyakartas are all set to offer a rousing welcome to the party’s national president J.P. Nadda in Agartala on Sunday.

The party workers left no stone unturned to make the party chief's visit successful. In several locations, party flags and festoons welcoming the party president have been placed.

He will address a public rally at Swami Vivekananda Maidan, Agartala to mark the second anniversary of the BJP-led government 2.0 in the state. After arriving at Maharaja Bir Bikram airport, he will directly reach the ground and address the gathering.

The rally is expected to draw a massive gathering. According to party sources, extensive campaigns were held in every corner of the state to make the rally successful. Besides, several rounds of meetings were held in the state party office.

Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha, accompanied by other party leaders, visited the venue on Saturday evening and reviewed the preparations for the mega rally.

An elaborate security arrangement has been put in place for smooth conduct of the rally.
