Agartala, Jan 20: Ending all speculations, the Tripura unit of Bharatiya Janata Party announced its district presidents on Monday.

BJP State Observer amd former MP Dr. Rajdeep Ray announced the names at a press conference at the state party office. 

The elected district presidents are: North Tripura- Kajal Kumar Das, Unakoti- Bimal Kar, Dhalai- Patiram Tripura, Khowai- Binoy Debbarma, Sadar (Urban)- Ashim Bhattacharjee, Sadar (Rural)- Gouranga Bhowmik, Sepahijala (South)- Uttam Das, Sepahijala (North)- Shri Biplab Chakraborty, Gomati- Sabita Nag and South Tripura- Dipayan Chowdhury.

A total of 74 nominations were filed for the election of district presidents. After scrutiny, 37 were accepted.
