Kalyanpur, Mar 31: To prevent anti-social activities and curb theft and robbery, the Kalyanpur Block Administration installed six CCTV cameras on Monday in key areas, including Kalyanpur Market, East Market, Motor Stand, Tri-Junction and Ekata Sangha Road.

According to police, the initiative will significantly reduce crime and help in quick identification of offenders. Kalyanpur Police Station officer Ranjit Sarkar praised the move and urged people to report crimes immediately. 

The cameras will also monitor traffic, identifying reckless bikers and illegal parking. The locals welcomed this step for a safer locality.
