Teliamura, July 27: Despite the Teliamura Municipality contracting two social organizations, Proyas and Green Circle, to maintain the town's cleanliness, concerns have arisen regarding the environmental impact of their waste disposal methods. 

Some cleaning workers hired by these organizations are reportedly burning waste, including various types of plastic, in the outskirts of Teliamura.

According to locals, the burning practice produces harmful gases, posing a threat to both the environment and public health. The locals, particularly morning walkers, have expressed complaints about the ongoing pollution. 

Despite previous warnings from the municipality, the organizations have not altered their methods, leading to widespread discontent in the area.

While Proyas and other social organizations claim to be taking steps to keep Teliamura pollution-free, these recent actions have sparked controversy and criticism from the community.
