Agartala, Oct 25: A daylong state committee meeting of the opposition CPI(M) is held here at Agartala Melarmath party headquarter.

Party’s state secretary Jitendra Choudhury, politburo member Manik Sarkar, Left front convenor Narayan Kar, party leader Manik Dey, Pabitra Kar and others including the CPI(M) and Left women leaders joined the meeting.

Briefing the reports about the issues to be discussed in the meeting, Choudhury said that the meeting will mainly discuss about the current political scenario in the state and in addition to this series of other issues shall be discussed to chalk out the next party programmes.
