Kalyanpur Aug 30: A young man, resident of North Kamalnagar village panchayat under Kalyanpur police station, died mysteriously by drowning in water.

The deceased has been identified as Abhijit Biswas (25).

Besides his parents, the deceased youth is left with a wife and a four-year-old daughter.

According to the details, locals spotted the dead body of the youth in a pond near to his residence and informed his father, Uttam Biswas, who was at the market at that time.

Sub-inspector Prem Singh Roy of Kalyanpur police station reached the spot.

The dead body was recovered by police and sent to Kalyanpur hospital for an autopsy.

According to police sources, the man used to take drugs as well there was a case against him.

However, Subranshu Bhattacharya, OC of Kalyanpur police station, said that the exact cause of death is not yet known.
