Development is happening without Protests or Movements under BJP-governance: Tripura CM

Agartala Jan 14: Taking a jibe over the opposition for conducting protests and movements chief minister Dr Manik Saha on Saturday said, “It is a trend set by the opposition to protest on mere issues".
“What is the need of protest when the government has own interest and motive to provide all sorts of development”, he added.
Dr Manik Saha was speaking at the foundation stone laying ceremony of Improvement and Beautification of Pond at Nagerjala.
He was accompanied by AMC Mayor Dipak Majumder, Deputy Mayor Manika Das Dutta among others.
The chief minister said, “People need to realize who is the guardian here. Under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the state government is committed to provide development in every possible way”.
“Every good thing takes time”, he added urging the people to have faith on the government.
Praising the entire team the chief minister said, “People of Bordowali are lucky, the chief minister belongs from here, we have Mayor and entire team to develop the constituency”.
He also directed the local club authorities to play active role in controlling drug addiction in the area.
Agartala Municipal Corporation Dipak Majumder while speaking on the occasion said, “The AMC has taken up initiative to keep the city clean and beautiful and in view of this, all the water bodies in the city will be renovated and beautified so that people can use the same and also the city looks attractive and beautiful”.
