Dharmanagar, October 5: The Dharmanagar Government College celebrated its 46th Foundation Day with great enthusiasm in the college campus on Saturday. The event was inaugurated by the Speaker of the Tripura Legislative Assembly, Biswabandhu Sen, and saw the presence of Minister of Welfare of Scheduled Castes, Sudhangshu Das, MLAs Binay Bhushan Das and Jadab Lal Debnath, along with Kalachhara Panchayat Samiti Chairperson, Tinku Sharma and several others.

Organizers revealed that Kajal Das, President of the Alumni Association, and the college’s Principal, Gautam Das, played key roles in the event, alongside committee secretaries Dr. Raghunandan Das and Dipankar Biswas, who contributed immensely to the celebration. The students of the college presented captivating cultural performances during the event.

In his address, Minister Sudhangshu Das lauded the institution’s contributions to the field of education, expressing confidence that its students would continue to play a leading role in the development of society.
