Dr. Saha emphasizes the transformative benefits of blood donation

Agartala Jan 24: On Friday, Naba Angikar Social Organization hosted a blood donation camp at Bordowali, Agartala, marking yet another step towards community service and social welfare.
Chief minister Dr Manik Saha took part at the event, amplifying the significance of the cause. Besides, Club Secretary Debdas Bakshi, local Corporator among others also remained present at the event.
Addressing the event the chief minister said, “Blood donation camps serve as a platform to raise awareness about the critical need for blood in medical emergencies and the impact that a single donation can have in saving lives”.
He emphasized the role of such initiatives in fostering a spirit of unity and collective responsibility among the citizens.
Having praised the effort of Naba Angikar social organization, the chief minister further said, “We are working towards making Tripura a model state. But along with development every citizen must realise their responsibilities towards the society and the state. Only then, Tripura will become a model state in real terms”.
The initiative saw enthusiastic participation from a total of 30 voluntary blood donors, each contributing to the noble cause with a heartwarming sense of altruism.
Club Secretary Debdas Bakshi said, “The successful turnout not only highlights the community's commitment to helping those in need but also underscores the importance of regular blood donation drives”.
