Bagafa Oct 29: The supervisor of Bagafa Agriculture Department on Saturday raided the illegall fertilizer shops in Manpathar market.

Sujit Kumar Das, supervisor of Bagafa Agriculture Department, is constantly working for the interests of farmers.

The supervisor of agriculture department came to know that some unscrupulous traders are selling agricultural fertilizers and seeds illegally in Manpathar market without any proper and valid license.

A special operation was conducted in Manpathar market on Saturday along with OC Jayanta Das of Manpathar outpost police station, Sector Officer of Bagafa Agriculture Department Subhendu Majumder and others.

While informing the media about this operation today, Sujit Kumar Das, Superintendent of Agriculture Department, said that strict action will be taken against all traders who are selling fertilizers and seeds illegally.

He made a special appeal to all the traders to do business legally by making legal licensed.

About 10 shops were raided on Saturday.

Sujit Kumar Das, the supervisor of the Agriculture Department, said that such operations will continue in the coming days.
