Gandacherra, Feb 14: To ease the traders, who once used to sit under open sky to sell their products, the newly constructed 2-storied market stall of Gandacherra Bazaar is awaiting inauguration.
The state agriculture minister Ratan Lal Nath will inaugurate the market stall on February 28 next. The construction work of the market stall was started in the year 2022 with the cost of Rs 5.50 crore.
MDC of 8 No. Ganganagar-Gandacherra Bhumikananda Reang, accompanied by the Superintendent of Gandacherra Agriculture Department Chandra Kumar Reang, Assistant Engineer of Agriculture Department Kripadhan Debbarman, Junior Engineer Sudhir Das, General Secretary of Gandachara Bazaar Traders Association Tarun Debnath, and others had visited the newly constructed market stall on Friday.
The market stall is equipped with 65 open vegetable sheds on the ground floor and 50 stalls on the upper floor, which are designated for small traders. These stalls will provide a safe, well-planned and convenient environment for traders.
The traders expressed their joy over the construction of new market stall for them and said that with this new facility, their daily business grow up and they will no longer face problems in doing their business.
