Agartala Aug 13: The final rehearsal for Independence Day parade was completed at the Assam Rifles ground on Saturday. All the platoons took part in the drill.

Like previous years the prime event of I-Day celebration will be held at Agartala Assam Rifles ground. Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha will hoist the national flag.

Various platoons along with security guards will take part in the parade at the state-based event. These include Assam Rifles, Indian Border Guard, Police, Tripura State Rifles, Home Guard, Civil Defence and various platoons.

Saturday the final drill for Independence Day parade was held in presence of Director General of Police, Amitabh Ranjan.
