Agartala, Dec 09: The state is shrouded in grief as it bids a heart-breaking farewell to Gautam Pal, the beloved entrepreneur and the driving force behind Sister Spices. Pal, aged 60, passed away in the early hours of Monday at RN Tagore Hospital in Mukundapur. After a prolonged battle with kidney disease and a successful transplant on Saturday, Gautam Pal succumbed to a fatal cardiac arrest on Sunday night.
Gautam Pal is survived by his wife, two daughters, and his aged mother, leaving behind a legacy that resonates across the state's entrepreneurial and humanitarian spheres. His mortal remains will be brought back to the state on Tuesday. He was loved and respected by all.

From his father, Matilal Pal’s modest masala business, Gautam built an empire that transformed Sister Spices into a symbol of quality and trust.
