Hepatitis Foundation of Tripura Sonamura branch organized Health Camp

Boxanagar Sept 23: An anti-drug program and health camp was organized on Friday at the BRC hall of Boxanagar Higher Secondary School under the initiative of Sonamura branch of Hepatitis Foundation of Tripura.
Sanjay Sarkar, chairman of Boxanagar Panchayat Samiti was present at the inaugural function.
Besides, members of Hepatitis Foundation of Tripura, Devi Chakraborty, Kishloy Ghosh, Nazrul Islam, member of Boxanagar Panchayat Samiti, Dr. Shyam Debbarma, in-charge of Boxanagar Social Health Centre, Niranjan Nama, Boxanagar Gram Panchayat Chief, Shyamal Kanti Das, secretary of Sonamura branch of the foundation Khadija Begum and many others remained present on the occasion.
Addressing the program, Boxanagar Panchayat Samiti Chairman Sanjay Sarkar said, Hepatitis Foundation of Tripura has always been carrying out various programs for the social development of the state. As a part of that, Friday, a discussion meeting on an important topic with the students of Boxanagar Higher Secondary School was also organized.
He added, presently many families are being destroyed due to drug addiction in different parts of the state. Therefore Hepatitis Foundation of Tripura has taken up the initiative to save people from all sections of the society from the grip of addiction.
The leaders of the organization urged the common people to come forward with united efforts to eradicate drug consumption in the state.
