In line with PM's vision, Tripura govt working to develop health infra: CM

Agartala, July 09: In line with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of 'Healthcare for All,' the state government has been actively improving healthcare infrastructure not only in urban areas but also in rural parts, Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha said on Tuesday.
The Chief Minister inaugurated the new building of Dayarampara Primary Health Center, also known as Ayushman Arogya Mandir, at Golaghati Assembly segment, on Tuesday.
This new healthcare facility, developed at the total cost of Rs. 2.10 crore, is a significant step towards making quality healthcare easily accessible up to the people in the last mile.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by Minister Tinku Roy and other dignitaries.
The Dayarampara Primary Health Center started its operations on March 4, 1990. In February 2017, it began offering 24x7 hospital services with the establishment of a 6-bed inpatient department (IPD). In 2021, the facility was upgraded to a 10-bed hospital.
The construction of the new building was supervised by the Public Works Department (R&B) of Bishramganj Division, which commenced on April 22, 2021, and concluded in 2023.
Meanwhile, the Chief Minister also inaugurated the new building of Takarjala Community Health Centre and Synthetic Football Turf ground at Jampuijala. He addressed a public gathering after inaugurating the three facilities.
