Agartala Nov 26: The arrest of ISKCON monk Chinmay Krishna Brahmachari by the Yunus-ledinterim Bangladesh sparked serious resentment and anger among the people in Tripura. Condemning the incident, members of the ‘Forum of Protection of Minorities in Bangladesh’ strongly voiced against the incident and demanded immediate release of the arrested seer. A delegation, comprising of editor of the Syandan Patrika Subal Dey, editor of Headlines Tripura Pranab Sarkar, Agartala Press Club president Jayanta Bhattacharjee, editor of Tripura Observer Arun Nath and executive editor of the Tripura Times Manas Pal went to the Bangladesh Assistant High Commission, Agartala Office on Tuesday and submitted a deputation to this end.
