Agartala, Sept 07: After a long wait, the Joint Recruitment Board, Tripura (JRBT) finally published the results of recruitment in 2500 Group-D (multitasking) posts on Saturday.

As reactions poured in from various places, the selection was fully based on merit and the process was transparent.

The written examination for the Group-D posts was held on August 20, 2021 and the list of provisionally qualified candidates was released on November 30, 2022.

Thousands of job aspirants had appeared in the interview and were waiting for the final results.

Meanwhile, Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha in a social media post congratulated the successful candidates.

The Chief Minister wrote, “Heartfelt congratulations to all JRBT Group-D qualified candidates! Your tireless efforts and unwavering dedication have led to this remarkable achievement. May this success be the foundation for even greater accomplishments in the future. Best wishes for your continued growth and prosperity!”

While the final result brought smiles to the qualified aspirants, it also sent a wave of disappointment to the job seekers, who had faced the interview but failed to reach the goal.

The JRBT in its notification mentioned that due to non-availability of suitable/ eligible candidates, there was no recommendation for 63 posts of Ex-servicemen and PwD.

“All the certificates of the recommended candidates will be verified by the concerned departments as per terms and conditions of eligibility before issuing offer of appointment. Recommendation of JRBT does not confer any right to appointment of any candidate. The recommended candidates may be appointed by the concerned Department following due procedure if found suitable in all respect,” the notification read.
