Agartala Feb 04: On Tuesday, a cloth distribution event was organized at capital city’s Lake Chowmani Bazaar on the eve of Bajrangbali Puja.

The event saw active participation of MLA Bhagaban Das, Market Committee Secretary Tapan Malakar, and several esteemed members of the Market Committee, including president Bhabatosh Pal.

During the distribution, the organizers generously handed out sarees to approximately 100 mothers, symbolizing a gesture of support and kindness.

The heartfelt initiative was spearheaded by MLA Bhagaban Das, who played a pivotal role in making the event successful.

Talking to the reporters, MLA Das said, “Here the Lake Chowmani Market Committee is organizing a 3-day long utsav dedicated to Bajrangbali. I am honoured for having the opportunity to come here”.

“I must say that the businessmen of Lake Chowmani market are not only doing their professional duties but they have also come forward is discharging social responsibities”, he said.

The MLA hailed the collective effort to provide for those in need adding that distribution of clothes among the needy exemplifies the true spirit of the festival, bringing joy and relief to many families in the region.
