Left Front celebrates November Revolution Day

Agartala Nov 06: Communist Party in the state celebrated the 105th anniversary of November Revolution Day, marking the insurrection of leftist revolutionaries led by Bolshevik Party leader Vladimir Lenin on November 7, 1917, in Russia.
The insurrection toppled a provisional government to transfer all powers to the soviets or workers’ councils, building the base for the Soviet Union.
“It is a thrilling occasion for all of us”, said leader of opposition Manik Sarkar underlining that the event marked the true rebellion of the working calss against kits oppressors and the red flag at kremlin was left flowing for the next 71 years, which is rare in world politics.
Leader of Opposition and former Chief Minister Manik Sarkar briefed the same while attending a blood donation camp organized at the CPI-M Dhaleshwar Regional Committee Office on Sunday.
Along with Leader of Opposition Manik Sarkar, CPI-M State Committee Member Amal Chakraborty, Regional Secretary Sanjay Das and other leaders remained present.
Apart from encouraging blood donors on this day, the former Chief Minister Manik Sarkar said that this kind of program will undoubtedly inspire the new generation of boys and girls in strengthening their mentality, determination, ideology and strength.
He thanked the CPI-M East Agartala Regional Committee for organizing the blood donation camp.
