Left students, youth bodies, ABVP demands probe into alleged NEET-UG irregularities, ADC answer key leakage

Agartala, June 10: The students and youth bodies of the Left front – SFI, TSU, TYF and DYFI on Monday expressed their concern over the answer key leakage in TTAADC recruitment examination and alleged irregularities in NEET-UG exam and demanded for comprehensive investigation in both the incidents.
The SFI state secretary Sandipan Deb led the agitation of the Left bodies here at Agartala on Monday and said that the Left bodies demand immediate arrest of the culprits involved with the incident of answer key leakage in TTAADC competitive examination. He also demanded comprehensive investigation into the alleged irregularities in the NEET-UG examination.
On the other hand, the state committee of the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) on Monday demanded a CBI inquiry into the marks inflation controversy over the NEET for undergraduate medical admission.
A large number of the activists of the ABVP on Monday staged protest here at Agartala, where the state convenor of the ABVP Gourav Das raised allegations against the National Testing Agency (NTA) regarding the conduct and evaluation of the NEET-UG.
He said a controversy erupted as a record number of candidates cleared NEET with full marks after the NTA awarded compensatory extra marks for lost exam time. He demanded CBI inquiry to address the purported irregularities in the examination process and results and later he also demanded for re-NEET.
