Agartala, July 08: Minister for Tourism Sushanta Chowdhury on Monday chaired a meeting with the officials concerned to review the development project at Tripurasundari Temple, Udaipur.
 
In the meeting held at the Secretariat, Chowdhury reviewed the progress and emphasized timely completion of the project.
 
Secretary to the Tourism department U.K. Chakma, Director Prashanta Badal Negi, Joint Director Aniruddha Roy, engineers engaged in the project and other officials were present in the meeting.
 
The Tourism minister held elaborate discussions on the on-going works in the Matabari and passed necessary instructions.
 
Matabari, considered to be one of the most important religious tourist destinations in Tripura, is undergoing rejuvenation / renovation under PRASAD. The project that includes rejuvenation/ renovation of the existing infrastructure with improved facilities is nearing completion.
