Minister Bikash Debbarma visits village to check implementation of govt projects

Khowai, Feb 03: The state tribal welfare minister Bikash Debbarma on Saturday visited Karnaram Para village of Mungiakami Block under 29-Krishnapur assembly constituency and checked the implementation of different government projects.
During his visit the minister interacted with the villagers and took stock of the situation of their daily livelihood. Presently 55 families are residing in the village.
Later talking to the reporters, minister Bikash Debbarma claimed that the present government had ensured proper drinking water facility, electricity service for the villagers of Karnaram Para, who were once deprived of their basic needs during the time of the previous government.
He also claimed that the present government, which is committed to ensure better livelihood for the indigenous people of the state, also provided houses to the villagers.
