Agartala Dec 05: On Thursday, a public meeting was convened in the Chanmari Kargil Tilla area to discuss the pressing issues related to roads, drainage systems, and other development works in the region.

The meeting chaired by 4-Barjala assembly constituency MLA Sudip Sarkar highlighted the community's efforts and plans to improve local infrastructure, ensuring better living conditions for residents.

During the meeting, MLA Sarkar reiterated his commitment to the development of the Chanmari Kargil Tila area. He assured the residents that he would continue to work diligently for their benefit, focusing on enhancing the region's infrastructure and addressing their concerns.

While the locals voiced their concerns, the MLA announced a total budget of Rs 3.21 lakh for construction of a 120-meter road stretch along with proper drainage system in the area.

Promising quality life to the residents, Sarkar announced that the construction work will commence in few days.
