Sabroom, Jan 24: The local MLA Jitendra Chowdhury of 40-Sabroom constituency inspected various developmental projects including Ludhua tea garden and interacted with the locals in Sabroom on Wednesday. 

The MLA discussed challenges faced by the Radhua tea garden workers and director of the Cooperative Centre.

MLA Jitendra Chowdhury assured the officials that he is committed to solving the cooperatives' problems, especially obstacles in creating new gardens and obtaining financial assistance for maintaining existing ones.

The MLA pledged to discuss these matters with the state government to find viable solutions.

During the visit, MLA Jitendra Chowdhury inspected the construction progress of Eklavya Kendriya Vidyalaya in Ludhua Tea Garden area. 

Although the primary agenda of his visit was monitoring the Feni river barricade, the programme was postponed due to a special ban imposed by BSF. 

The MLA expressed dissatisfaction with the incomplete construction of the Feni River bridge, highlighting concerns about proper block allocation from both the Indian and Bangladeshi sides.
