Agartala Feb 13: On Thursday, SDPO Subrata Barman addressed the media at the NCC police station in Agartala's Capital Complex, revealing details of a recent theft incident.

He said, “The theft occurred at the old CBI camp office in the Capital Complex, which falls under the jurisdiction of the NCC police station. The inspector of the CBI office promptly filed a case at the NCC police station on February 11, 2025”.

In response, a dedicated team was assembled to investigate the matter. The Officer-in-Charge of the NCC police station, along with the OC of Abhoynagar Outpost, Joynal Hossain, took charge of the investigation.

Their efforts led them to the Shyamali Bazar area, where they successfully apprehended six individuals in connection with the theft.

“The NCC police have recovered stolen goods from the arrested individuals, and further investigations are underway to uncover more details and bring any additional perpetrators to justice”, he said.
