Agartala, Nov 14: The National Institute of Technology (NIT) Agartala is all set to host IEEE SILCON-2024, the flagship annual international conference of the IEEE Silchar Subsection. The event starting from Friday will mark a milestone as it is the first-ever Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers conference to be held in the state. The conference aims to provide a platform for global researchers, professionals, and students to collaborate, network, and present recent research findings in the fields of Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, and Electronics & Communication Engineering.
The event will be conducted in a hybrid mode, allowing participation from delegates, authors, and listeners from around the world. The conference will feature eight keynote lectures from eminent personalities hailing from the USA, UK, and Norway, offering valuable insights into the latest advancements in technology and engineering. In addition, there will be three tutorials, two lectures from IEEE Young Professionals, and three IEEE Women in Engineering lectures, alongside more than 200 paper presentations in both offline and online formats.
The inaugural ceremony of IEEE SILCON-2024 will take place on Friday at 3:00 PM in NIT Agartala, and the organizing committee has extended a warm invitation to all distinguished guests to attend the event and help spread the word through print and electronic media.
