Agartala Jan 27: Aimed at ensuring good health and well-being of mothers, Councillor Abhishek Dutta felicitated ANC (Antenatal Care) mothers registered under the 'Dhanwantari' Urban Ayushman Arogya Mandir (UAAM) in Ward No. 18 under the Agartala Municipal Corporation (AMC).

The event saw the distribution of nutritious food items essential for pregnant mothers in the area.

Notably, the 'Dhanwantari' scheme, initiated by the government, aims to provide comprehensive healthcare services to pregnant women and new mothers, ensuring they receive the necessary support and nutrition during this critical period.

The scheme is part of a broader effort to improve maternal and child health in urban areas, offering a range of services from antenatal care to postnatal support.
