Agartala, Mar 13: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday assured full support to Tripura for the state's development.

The assurance came when Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha called on the Prime Minister in the national capital.

The Chief Minister in his meeting with the Prime Minister discussed various important matters.

Later in a social media post, Dr. Saha mentioned, "Glad to meet Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji in New Delhi. Hon’ble Prime Minister conveyed warm regards to brothers & sisters of #Tripura and also assured for full support in development of State.

This is for the first time that Dr. Saha met with the Prime Minister after he took charge as the Chief Minister of Tripura for the second straight term.

The Chief Minister gifted a replica of Ujjayanta Palace made of bamboo.

The Prime Minister greeted the people of the state as they voted for BJP.

Meanwhile, the Chief Minister earlier met with President Droupadi Murmu, Vice-President Jagdeep Dhankhar and several Union Ministers during his Delhi visit.
