Agartala, Jan 08: Prime Minister Narendra Modi, several Chief Ministers and other leaders extended greetings to Tripura Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha on his birthday.

Dr. Manik Saha is serving as the 11th Chief Minister of Tripura. Dr. Saha represents 8- Town Bardowali assembly constituency.

As he turned 72 today, he has been flooded with birthday greetings on social media.

In his message on X, the Prime Minister wrote, "Birthday wishes to the Chief Minister of Tripura, Dr. Manik Saha Ji. He has endeared himself to the people of Tripura thanks to his humble and hardworking nature. His focus on all-round development of the state has led to great outcomes. May he lead a long and healthy life."

The Chief Minister in his reply said, "Thank you so much for your kind and appreciable words Hon’ble PM @narendramodi Ji. Your commitment, dedication and motivation inspires us to walk on the path of ‘Ek Tripura, Shrestha Tripura’ to further strengthen the vision of ‘Viksit Tripura, Viksit Bharat’. The HIRA Model has not only helped for growth in Tripura but further it has changed the lives of people here. Tripura loves the PM who cares."

Several union ministers and chief ministers also extended birthday greetings to Dr. Saha.

Assam Chief Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma wrote, "Birthday Greetings to the Hon'ble Chief Minister of Tripura Dr Manik Saha ji. Under his leadership , the state is witnessing a new phase of peace, stability and progress. May Maa Kamakhya and Srimanta Sankardev bless him with good health and a long life."

The Tripura Pradesh BJP announced several activities to mark the Chief Minister's birthday.

Dr. Saha on Wednesday morning visited Lakshmi Narayan Bari Temple & Melarmath Kalibari in Agartala to seek blessings.
