Prepaid auto service from Agartala airport re-launched

Agartala, Apr 25: The prepaid auto service from Maharaja Bir Bikram airport, Agartala has been re-launched on Tuesday.
Transport minister Sushanta Chowdhury, who inaugurated the service, assured that the state government would consider if the auto drivers face any problem in continuing the service.
The prepaid auto service was stopped for the last six months.
According to sources, the prepaid auto service is important as Maharaja Bir Bikram airport is likely to receive the international tag soon.
Secretary of the Transport department U.K. Chakma, Inspector General of Police (law and order) L. Darlong, transport commissioner Subrata Chowdhury, MBB airport director K.C. Meena and others were present in the inaugural ceremony.
Meanwhile, a rate chart has been prepared for the prepaid auto service.
