Solo cyclist on Bharat Yatra reaches Tripura, meets CM

Agartala, May 25: Aasha Malviya, a Solo Cyclist from Nataram village of Madhya Pradesh who embarked on India tour and reached Tripura, paid a courtesy visit to Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha at his official residence on Thursday.
With the message of 'Woman Safety & Woman Empowerment', she has already covered 20 states (16,600 km) starting from Bhopal on 1st November, 2022.
The cyclist has set the target to cover 25000 km in 10 months and Tripura is the 20th state she is visiting now.
Malviya, who entered Tripura from Mizoram on Tuesday, is expected to reach Delhi on August 15 next.
"It my first visit to Tripura, the state of endlessly beauty, It was a nice meeting with Hon'ble CM Sir. He is also very aware of woman safety and woman empowerment. All the officials in the state administration are very humble and sincere," she said.
She is traveling as across the country solo to spread the message that women are safe.
The Chief Minister hailed the adventurous spirit of the cyclist and extended financial support to her. In a social media post, the Chief Minister mentioned that her effort was an example of true woman empowerment.
