State government is working to fulfil the basic needs of the people: Tripura CM

Agartala Dec 21: “The state government is putting relentless efforts to deliver basic facilities to the common people of the state and education is one of the most important sectors”, said chief minister Dr Manik Saha.
The statement came from the chief minister as he was addressing a Mega Blood Donation Camp organized at A D Nagar English Medium School in the capital city here on Wednesday.
Talking about the demands placed on behalf of the school, chief minister Dr Manik Saha said, “There are not enough classrooms and also various other facilities of the school needs to be looked after at the earliest”.
He added, “The demand of expansion of the school will be discussed and started accordingly so that no problem is created in future”.
The chief minister said, “The teachers should be updated in all aspects according to the present generation”.
He emphasized on the fact, “Teachers play a major role in building up students and their future”.
The chief minister further appreciated the authorities for organizing the mega blood donation camp and also greeted the blood donors who voluntarily donated blood at the program.
Apart from the chief minister, Agartala Municipal Corporation Mayor Dipak Majumder, Chairman, Central Zone Ratna Dutta, Chairman, South Zone Abhijit Mallik, Corporator Alak Roy, Corporator Sampa Sarkar Choudhury and other dignitaries remained present on the occasion.
