Agartala Dec 29: The present state government is working on a multifaceted plan to promote quality education and create an Education Hub in the state, said Tripura chief minister Dr Manik Saha.
The chief minister attended the celebrations of the Diamond Jubilee program of Prachya Bharati Higher Secondary School in the capital city here on Friday.
Tripura BJP president Rajib Bhattacharjee, Director of Higher Education N C Sharma, Principal of Prachya Bharati School Sudhir Debbarma along with other dignitaries remained present at the program.
Addressing the students on the occasion, the chief minister highlighted various developmental works in the state education sector in recent days.
He said, “The state government’s unwavering commitment to enhancing the quality of education by prioritizing the development of school infrastructure, ensuring that students are receiving quality education is seen across every corner of the state”.
“Logistics support and construction of new concrete buildings for schools, introduction of NCERT syllabus, various schemes such as Mission Vidyajyoti Project, Super- 30, chief minister Merit Award, Vocational Education, Smart Class and many more play an important role towards promoting high- quality education to the students who are the future of the nation”, he said.
Naming a few talented youths who qualified with glorious results from Prachya Bharati HS School, the chief minister said, “There is no shortage of talent in Tripura. The collective approach of all these talented students will help in realizing Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s dream of ‘Ek Tripura Srestha Tripura’.
The chief minister also asked the teachers to take responsibility of realizing the dream.
Dr Manik Saha further assured to lend all necessary help to the school and ensure that the gaps are fulfilled.
Later, he also met the blood donors who came forward in voluntary blood donation organized on the occasion of the school’s Diamond Jubilee celebrations.
